Kelly Monaco

Kelly Monaco plays Samantha McCall on the hit soap opera General Hospital.

Kelly has aways been an active athlete, participating in soccer, swimming, track and softball, among other sports as a child. In addition to sports, she participated intensely in speech, debate and theater during high school.
Her television debut came in 1997, when she landed a recurring role on "Baywatch". She has also appeared in movies - Idle Hands (1999), Mumford (1999) and BASEketball (1998).

She enjoys volunteering for children's charity events, as well as working with elders. She currently resides in West Hollywood, California.

Priscilla Presley

Priscilla Presley's was a teenager she met Elvis Presley in 1959 in Germany when he was serving with the U.S. Army. After an eight-year courtship, she married him on 1 May 1967. As their marriage was winding down, she began studying karate and acting. After his death she went into business and began work in movies and TV, notably playing the part of Jenna Wade (1983-88) in Dallas. She more recently established herself as Jane Spencer in the "Naked Gun" (The Naked Gun: From the Files of Police Squad! (1988)) movies.

She was recently a contestant on Dancing with the Stars at age 62, where she acquitted herself admirably.

Deborah Gibson

Deborah (Debbie) Gibson was born in Brooklyn, NY, in 1970. She became famous at the age of 16 with the release of her single “Only in My Dreams.” Her album Out of the Blue followed, producing the hit single “Foolish Beat”. When this became #1 on the charts it made Deborah the youngest person ever to write, produce, and perform a number one single. Her follow up album, Electric Youth, also went to #1.

Her popularity has waned since these early years, she has continued to perform and has released several albums since, including Anything is Possible (1990), Body Mind Soul (1993), Think with your Heart (1995), Deborah (1997), M.Y.O.B. (2001), and Colored Lights (2003).

Deborah has also branched out into into musicals such as Les Miserables, Grease, Funny Girl, Beauty and the Beast, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Cinderella, Chicago, and Cabaret. She is also the lyricist and composer on a couple of pre-production musicals, Skirts and The Flunky.

In March 2005 Deborah posed for Playboy after years of stating that she never would. This action unfortunately alienated some of her fans.

She is currently looking to do more television work.

  • Deborah's Camp Electric Youth is a performing arts summer day camp geared towards young performers ages 7-17. She will teach both voice lessons and songwriting.
  • In May, 2007, Electric Youth: The Musical, opened at The Starlight Theater in Orlando, Florida. The musical features fourteen of Deborah's songs.
  • She wrote the music and lyrics for the musical "The Flunky"which is in pre-production.

Melanie Brown/Mel B/Scary Spice

Melanie Brown is best known as Scary Spice or Mel B from the 1990s girl band, the Spice Girls.

The Spice Girls released three albums, selling over 55 million records worldwide and released a film in 1997.

Mel made has been busy in the theater. She played Mimi in Rent on Broadway. She also appeared on TV and in a few movies.

In 2007, Melanie joined the cast of Dancing with the Stars and was the losing finalist.

In 2008 she has launched a clothing line, become the spokesperson for Ultimo underwear, hosted Miss Universe and is appearing in a reality TV show with Joey Fatone.

  • Melanie supports a number of charities including the Helen Bamber Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation, Children in Need charity, and Beat Bullying charity.
  • Before joining The Spice Girls, Mel worked as a dancer at a holiday camp in Blackpool, UK.

Tina Fey

In high-school, Tina Fey considered herself a "supernerd" and this formed the basis of her movie "Mean Girls".

A friend encouraged her to send samples of her work to Saturday Night Live and soon after she was working there, eventually rising to the position of co-head writer. One of the significant things she did was to revive 'Weekend Update' with her co-anchor, Jimmy Fallon.

Tina also writes and appears in 30 Rock on NBC.

Tina has one child with husband and SNL band musician Jeff Richmond.

  • Tina was voted No. 1 on AfterEllen.com's 'Hot 100' list of 2008. The previous year she was ranked 7th.

Helen Mirren

Helen Mirren began as a stage actress and then moved to films and television. She starred as a police inspector in the show Prime Suspect.

Helen has lived with director Taylor Hackford in Los Angeles since 1986, and they were married in 1997.

She became Dame Helen in 2003, when she was appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the Queen's Birthday Honours, and is also an Associate Member of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts (RADA).

She has won many, many awards, the greatest being an Academy Award for her portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II in The Queen.

Jean Louisa Kelly

Jean Louisa graduated from Columbia University in 1994 with a degree in English. In addition to acting she is a singer and has appeared on the soundtrack to 'The Outer Limits.'

Kelly made her screen debut at age 16 in the film "Uncle Buck." Later she appeared in the television movies "One More Mountain", "Tad" and was in the series 'Cold Feet.'

She, of course, is best known for playing the role of Kim Warner on the sitcom Yes, Dear.

Lisa Edelstein

Lisa Edelstein began her professional acting career performing in a wide range of productions off and on Broadway, and authored and performed the AIDS-related musical "Positive Me". It was one one of the earliest AIDS-related theater productions.

Lisa's first television experience was as a host of the cable series "Awake on the Wild Side." She has taken on a wide variety of roles for television. She played a call-girl girlfriend on "The West Wing", David Conrad's sister on "Relativity," the transsexual boyfriend of James LeGros on "Ally McBeal" and an Orthodox Jewish woman losing custody of her child on "Family Law." She also played James Spader's love interest on "The Practice", and has had numerous other TV roles and guest appearances.

Her latest and current role is, of course, as hospital administrator Dr. Lisa Cuddy, in the hit medical drama "House".

  • Lisa's favorite House quote is, "Inamrinone can cause arrhythmia and thrombocytopenia".
  • Lisa's mom, dad, aunt and uncle have all been extras on House.

Ali Larter was born in New Jersey and began modeling at the age of 13. She appeared as a guest star in a number of TV shows and her big break was in Varsity Blues where she wore a bikini made of whipped cream.

Traylor Howard was born and raised in Orlando. While still in high school, she appeared in a Juicy Fruit gum commercial.

Gillian Anderson

Gillian Anderson started her career as a member of an amateur actor group, while at high school. Her love of the theater took her to the national theatre of Great Britain at the Cornell University of Ithaca, in New York. Afterwards, Anderson left for the Goodman Theater School of the DePaul University in Chicago, where she finished her education. Her big break came with "The X Files" (1993) (with David Duchovny) as Dana Scully.

After the X-files finished she moved to London and has enjoyed performing on the stage winning a number of awards. She is due to star in the second X-files movie.

  • It took 17 hours to change Gillian's hair color to Scully's red for the new X-files movie.
  • Gillian wrote and directed the X-files episode "All Things".
  • Her tattoos include a Tahitian tribal symbol on the inside of her right ankle, the words "every day" in Sanskrit on her right wrist, and a "P" on her left hip.

Cristian de la Fuente is a Chilean actor that has increasingly appeared on TV and in movies in the US over the past few years.

He is also known for competing in Dancing with the Stars where, despite a severely injured elbow, he persevered and finished third.

  • Cristian is a licensed pilot.

Mimi Rogers is a very busy actress who, over her nearly thirty year career, has always made men's (and some women's) tongues hang out.

Her big break came in "Someone to Watch Over Me", a Ridley Scott movie. Over the years she has appeared in a number of big budget movies (Lost in Space) and a bigger number of indie movies (The Rapture. She has also been busy on TV wioth her biggest part being in the X-files.

Her most infamous role was in "Full Body Massage".

  • In 1998, Mimi sued The Home Shopping Network for $10-million, claiming the TV retailers had fed false information to the National Enquirer. The paper reported that she had thrown a temper tantrum on the set, cursed like a sailor, and trashed a backstage room when she appeared on HSN. She later dropped the suit, when a federal district court ruled that the Enquirer's account was "largely true."
  • Having played poker as a teenager (illegally), she took up competitive poker in 2003, and finished in the money in her first major tournament.
  • Her first husband, Jim Rogers, was a Church of Scientology counsellor. She also introduced her second husband, Tom Cruise, to Scientology.

Scarlett Johansson was born in 1984 in New York City. She showed a passion for acting at a young age and starred in many plays.

She began her acting career in 1994 starring as "Laura Nelson" in North. In 1998 she appeared in The Horse Whisperer which brought her critical praise and worldwide recognition. She starred in many other films including the cult film Ghost World and then the hit Lost in Translation with Bill Murray. Later on, she appeared in Girl with a Pearl Earring.
